Chomthana welcomed students in the field of food business and nutrition from the Faculty of Agriculture, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University to learn more about the food business. A total of 30 students visited the factory. It was a great opportunity for students to gain an understanding of the production and food industry management processes. We hope the visit was helpful to them and can open their eyes to new opportunities and innovations within the food industry.

Chomthana’s CSR team recently paid a visit to 2 schools to give ice cream to hundreds of children in 2 schools (Watsuwanjindaram School and Watjantraram School). Visiting these schools is part of our ‘Cremo Shares Happiness’ project for 2016 and 2017.

The project aims to give back to society and to share the joy of ice cream by visiting various organizations that are a part of our local community. Chomthana is also organizing charity days for organizations to visit the factory.

The aim of the project is to help with the needs and concerns of the local community, and to establish positive relationships within the community and with the environment.

The visit involved an introduction to Chomthana, an explanation of the ice cream manufacturing process and an ice cream treat. After the little kids had our ice cream, the big smiles on their cute faces really made our day!

Stay tuned for more of our CSR activities!

Chomthana Co., Ltd. has had the honour of taking part in CSR project with a local school in Pathum Thani province.

Kantawan school, which educates children from the ages of 7 – 12, is a local primary school that has a strong focus on inculcating children with values such as independence and work ethic.

As a long time supporter of Cremo ice cream and Chomthana, the school has given Chomthana the opportunity to go into the school to engage with the children in a fun and interactive way.

The aim of the program is to educate and inform school children on nutritional facts, and to give them some insight into the production of ice cream and frozen foods.

Through games and quizes, the focus of the programme has always been to educate children.

We hope that by giving school children the exposure to the manufacturing business and the importance of proper diet and nutrition, they would understand their diet choices and be better equipped to choose products for their own consumption.

We look forward to visiting more local schools in the future.

We thank them for their time and enthusiastic spirit! It has been a pleasure!
